Also known as Bremelanotide, PT-141 is a cyclic analog of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone developed from Melanotan II. Its conformationally constrained structure produces melanocortin receptor activity, with particular research interest around centrally expressed MC3R and MC4R pathways.
