Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about Arche Research products, ordering, payment, shipping, documentation, and support.

What are Arche Research products intended for?

Arche Research products are supplied exclusively for lawful laboratory research, analytical, educational, and other non-clinical purposes.

They are intended for use by qualified researchers and organizations with appropriate knowledge, facilities, equipment, procedures, and authorization.

For complete requirements, review our Research Use Policy.

Who may purchase from Arche Research?

Purchasers must be at least 21 years old and legally capable of entering into a transaction.

By placing an order, the purchaser confirms that the products are being obtained exclusively for lawful research purposes and that the purchaser has the knowledge, facilities, equipment, and authorization necessary to handle them appropriately.

Arche Research may refuse or cancel an order when eligibility, intended use, payment, destination, or compliance cannot be reasonably verified.

When is an order considered paid?

An order is considered paid only after Arche Research receives and verifies the full required payment.

Payments made through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, cryptocurrency, or another external service may require additional time to:

  • Appear in the receiving account
  • Receive network confirmations
  • Be matched to the correct order
  • Complete fraud or payment review

Sending a screenshot or payment confirmation does not independently establish that funds were successfully received.

How long does order processing take?

Orders are ordinarily prepared for shipment within one to three business days after payment has been received and verified.

Business days do not include weekends, federal holidays, carrier holidays, or days on which Arche Research is closed.

Processing may take longer during periods of increased order volume, payment review, address verification, severe weather, carrier disruption, product launches, or other unusual circumstances.

Which shipping carriers do you use?

Most orders are shipped using:

  • USPS Ground Advantage
  • UPS Ground
  • Other USPS or UPS services when appropriate

The carrier and service may be selected based on the shipping destination, package weight, package dimensions, cost, transit time, and carrier availability.

Shipping labels may be purchased through Pirate Ship, but USPS or UPS is responsible for transporting and delivering the shipment.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes.

Tracking information will be provided after the shipping label has been created.

A tracking status such as Label Created or Pre-Shipment means that shipment information has been transmitted to the carrier. It does not necessarily mean the carrier has physically received or scanned the package yet.

Carrier tracking may take additional time to update after the package is transferred for shipment.

How are orders packaged?

Products are packaged to protect them during ordinary shipping and carrier handling.

Products are generally placed inside an Arche Research-branded product box. That box is then placed inside a separate exterior shipping carton with crinkle-cut shredded paper or other protective cushioning material.

Packaging materials and arrangement may vary based on the size and contents of the order.

Is shipping discreet?

Yes.

The Arche Research-branded product packaging is placed inside a separate exterior shipping box. Product names and specific package contents are not displayed on the outside of the shipping carton.

The exterior shipping label may contain the sender information required for carrier processing, delivery, and legal compliance.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

Contact Arche Research immediately if an address change is required.

We may be able to update the address before fulfillment begins, but changes are not guaranteed after:

  • The order has been processed
  • Products have been packed
  • A shipping label has been created
  • The package has been transferred to the carrier

For payment-security and fraud-prevention reasons, Arche Research may require cancellation and placement of a new order when a material address change is requested.

The purchaser is responsible for reviewing the shipping information carefully before submitting an order.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Submit a claim within 48 hours of the carrier’s recorded delivery time.

Retain:

  • The exterior shipping carton
  • The shipping label
  • All cushioning and packaging materials
  • The branded product box
  • All products received
  • Any damaged containers or closures

Provide clear photographs showing the exterior box, shipping label, interior packaging, all products received, and the specific damage.

Do not discard or further alter the package or damaged products until Arche Research confirms that the claim has been resolved.

See the Returns, Refunds & Shipping Claims Policy for complete requirements.

What should I do if an item is missing or incorrect?

Report a missing item, incorrect product, incorrect strength, or incorrect quantity within 72 hours of the carrier’s recorded delivery time.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the discrepancy
  • Photographs of the exterior package and shipping label
  • Photographs of the interior packaging
  • A single photograph showing all products received together
  • Clear photographs of each product label

An incorrect product should remain unopened and in its original condition while the claim is reviewed.

Do you accept returns?

No. Routine returns and exchanges are not accepted.

After products leave Arche Research, we cannot verify their storage conditions, handling, security, temperature exposure, contamination status, or chain of custody. Returned products cannot be restocked, resold, or redistributed.

Exceptions may be considered only for verified shipping damage, confirmed fulfillment errors, or packages confirmed lost before delivery, as described in the Returns, Refunds & Shipping Claims Policy.

Do not send any product back without written authorization.

Can I cancel an order?

Contact Arche Research as soon as possible.

Cancellation may be possible before fulfillment begins, but it is not guaranteed once an order has been:

  • Submitted for fulfillment
  • Picked from inventory
  • Packed
  • Assigned a shipping label
  • Transferred to the carrier

Once fulfillment has begun, the order is generally considered final.

How should unopened lyophilized products be stored?

Unopened lyophilized products should generally be stored frozen at -20°C (-4°F).

Products should also be protected from:

  • Repeated temperature cycling
  • Moisture
  • Direct light
  • Contamination
  • Unauthorized access
  • Improperly sealed storage

The purchaser is responsible for determining whether additional stability controls, temperature monitoring, or independent testing are required for the intended research.

What happens if a shipment is exposed to heat or cold during transit?

Temporary exposure during ordinary shipment does not independently establish that a lyophilized product has degraded or become unusable.

Product stability depends on factors such as:

  • Compound identity
  • Formulation
  • Exposure temperature
  • Exposure duration
  • Moisture
  • Packaging
  • Subsequent storage
  • The analytical characteristic being evaluated

Claims based only on package temperature or subjective appearance may be insufficient unless supported by credible evidence showing that the product was materially defective when delivered.

Move the products into appropriate storage promptly after delivery.

Do products include certificates of analysis?

Batch-specific certificates of analysis will be made available through the Arche Research website when applicable.

Printed certificates of analysis will not ordinarily be included inside the shipment.

The applicable certificate may be located using the product name, batch or lot information, or the certificate section of the website.

A certificate of analysis applies only to the identified batch, tested sample, methods, laboratory, date, detection limits, and characteristics shown in the document.

Are the stated product amounts exact?

Product labels identify the nominal amount supplied.

Reasonable analytical and manufacturing variation may occur. A purity percentage does not determine the total amount of material present in the container.

Purchasers requiring independently verified quantity, concentration, or composition for a particular research protocol are responsible for obtaining appropriate testing.

Will a product produce the results described in published research?

No particular research result is guaranteed.

Published studies may involve different:

  • Materials
  • Formulations
  • Quantities
  • Purity levels
  • Testing methods
  • Experimental models
  • Storage conditions
  • Research environments

Scientific references are provided for general research context and do not guarantee that a specific product, batch, or protocol will reproduce a published result.

Can Arche Research help me choose a product for a particular research objective?

Arche Research may provide factual information about:

  • Product availability
  • Product identity
  • Published specifications
  • General research topics
  • Storage information
  • Ordering and shipping

The purchaser remains responsible for selecting products, evaluating the literature, designing the research protocol, assessing hazards, and determining suitability.

Arche Research does not approve purchaser-specific protocols or guarantee that a product is appropriate for a particular experiment.

Can you provide dosing, administration, or treatment advice?

No.

Arche Research does not provide:

  • Dosing information
  • Administration instructions
  • Treatment protocols
  • Medical advice
  • Veterinary advice
  • Diagnostic guidance
  • Personal-use recommendations
  • Guidance involving administration to a human or animal

Requests involving personal use, administration, diagnosis, treatment, or dosing will not be evaluated.
